FireBeam BLUE is a Bluetooth-enabled reflective optical beam smoke detector designed for protecting large open areas including warehouses, factories, churches, schools, distribution centres and atriums. It allows installers to commission and maintain the detector using a smartphone app.
The detector transmits an infrared beam towards a reflector. If smoke enters the beam path and reduces the signal beyond a predetermined level, an alarm condition is activated. This makes it ideal for wide areas where multiple point detectors would otherwise be required.
