Sir David Amess Dies

Ian Moore, CEO of the FIA states “It is with great sadness to announce that MP Sir David Amess has died after he was stabbed multiple times at his constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea. Sir David is well known to the fire industry, more recently as the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Fire Safety and Rescue Group. I had a number of engagements with Sir David over the last 5 years;  he was a true gentleman and will be missed. My heartfelt condolences go to his family.”
