The Hochiki Addressable Heat Detector in Ivory is an intelligent heat sensor designed for use with Hochiki ESP analogue addressable fire alarm systems. The detector provides reliable heat-based fire detection and is suitable for applications where heat detection is preferred over smoke detection.

This Hochiki addressable heat detector incorporates both variable fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise heat detection elements. The individual thermal elements, or both elements together, can be selected and controlled from the fire alarm control panel, providing flexibility when configuring the detection system for different applications.

The detector is part of Hochiki's ESP range of intelligent addressable fire detection products and uses the Hochiki ESP protocol for communication with compatible fire alarm control panels. Hochiki's ESP sensor range uses an electronics-free mounting base, with the detectors electronically addressed using a hand-held programmer.

The ivory casing provides a discreet finish for installations where the detector needs to blend with the surrounding ceiling or interior. Hochiki ESP sensors are available in different casing colours, including ivory, white and black.

An optional short-circuit isolator (SCI) version is available for installations requiring loop short-circuit isolation. The standard Hochiki YBN-R/3 mounting base is compatible with the ESP sensor range, while the YBN-R/3(SCI) provides an integral short-circuit isolator.

The Hochiki addressable heat detector is suitable for integration into compatible analogue addressable fire alarm systems in commercial, industrial and other building applications where heat detection is required.
