The Cygnus Standard PRO Radio Base with Type B Heat and standard battery is a wireless addressable heat detection device designed for use with Cygnus fire alarm systems. The radio base provides wireless communication between the heat detector and the fire alarm control panel using the Cygnus wireless protocol.

The battery-powered radio base is supplied with a Type B heat detector and is designed to provide reliable fire detection without the need for traditional wired detector connections. The standard battery version has a minimum battery life of three years, making it suitable for wireless fire alarm installations where flexible positioning and reduced cabling are important.

The Cygnus Standard PRO Radio Base features LED indicators to provide system status information, including successful connection to the programming unit, low battery and communication faults. The associated heat detector also uses multi-colour and dual fire LEDs to provide clear visual indication of detector status, pre-alarm and alarm conditions.

The detector can be configured and programmed using Cygnus SmartNet configuration software, allowing the device to be incorporated into a compatible wireless addressable fire alarm system.
