Synergy+ Automatic Heat Detector 

The Synergy+ Automatic Heat Detector is a reliable automatic detection unit from Evacuator Alarms. It is designed to monitor changes in room temperature and trigger linked non-detector Synergy+ devices when a preset threshold is reached. As a result, it provides dependable activation without relying on smoke detection.

Because some environments naturally contain smoke, dust, mist, or controlled fire, the Synergy+ Heat Detector helps prevent accidental system activation. Therefore, it is ideally suited to kitchens, workshops, plant rooms, and similar indoor locations.

Accurate Heat Detection Where Smoke Sensors Are Unsuitable
The device features an Apollo 57-degree heat detection head, which responds to significant temperature changes rather than airborne particles. Consequently, it delivers consistent detection in areas where traditional smoke detectors may cause false alarms.

Once triggered, the Synergy+ Heat Detector transmits a signal to other connected Synergy+ devices. However, the detector itself does not emit any sound, allowing alert devices elsewhere in the system to activate instead.

Simple Wireless Setup & Everyday Reliability
Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to the unit’s fully wireless design. In addition, three clearly marked buttons on the front of the device allow for easy pairing, testing, and system setup.

Furthermore, mesh radio connectivity and a Category One radio module help maintain reliable communication across the system. An integrated anti-tamper antenna also enhances security and system integrity.

Indoor Use & System Notes
The Synergy+ Heat Detector is designed for indoor use only. It also does not include a built-in sounder or strobe. Instead, it activates other compatible Synergy+ alert devices within the system when heat is detected.

For guidance on the correct use of heat detection within fire alarm systems, refer to information published by the British Standards Institution (BSI). In particular, standards such as BS 5839 outline best practice for detector selection in environments where smoke detection may not be suitable.
