Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra
Wired PIR motion detector with an anti-masking system
When high security meets high tech
Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra is an indoor motion detector designed primarily for high-risk facilities. It offers precise motion detection at a distance of up to 15 meters and responds to both slow and fast movements. The blind zone is just 50 cm, ensuring that an intruder's attempt to crawl under the device will be detected immediately. The anti-masking system notifies of attempts to cover, obstruct, or paint the device’s lens. Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra can be quickly installed at any site that requires accurate intrusion detection, reliable sabotage protection, and an effective false alarm filter.Discover future-proof hardware

PIR Sensor
All Ajax motion detectors use PIR sensors by Excelitas Technologies — a field-leading American manufacturer specializing in designing and producing optronic components since 1931. Ajax Systems constantly proves the sensor’s Superior quality at the production stage: we test 100% of manufactured devices. Wrapped into Ajax technologies, it brings the utmost accuracy of intrusion detection
Thermal interferences filter
SmartDetect is a software algorithm developed after analyzing thousands of thermal patterns from people and environmental objects. When the motion detector is in armed mode, it constantly monitors heat data from a PIR sensor. This includes details like the intensity of infrared radiation, the size of the warm object, how fast it’s moving, how long it stays in the detection area, and more. The algorithm uses this information to instantly and accurately filter out heat sources like headlights, lighting equipment, or warm air currents. As a result, the detector reacts to real movement while avoiding false alarms.
Temperature compensation
Temperature compensation is a software feature used in Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra. It helps the device keep working accurately even when the surrounding (ambient) temperature is similar to the human body temperature. The detector constantly measures the ambient temperature and uses a built-in correction table to correct the PIR sensor data.
Professional installation
Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra works best when it is installed and configured correctly. This involves mounting the device at the proper height and angle to ensure it monitors the intended area effectively. Correct positioning helps eliminate blind spots and improves detection accuracy. Proper installation also reduces false alarms, by avoiding areas with fluctuating temperatures or frequent non-threatening movements.
Masking detection
Even if the Ajax system is disarmed, an intruder cannot sabotage the device without being noticed. The detector’s anti-masking system notifies of attempts to cover, obstruct, or paint the lens. It detects all masking materials, including drapery, paper, metal, glass, plastic, aerosols, dyes, and more.
Unique wired technologies
Fibra is proprietary Ajax technology for secure two-way communication between devices and a hub or module that extends the Fibra line. Fibra features encryption and device authentication to prevent sabotage, spoofing, and data theft. The Fibra line supports all types of devices, including sirens, keypads, and detectors with photo verification.
Energy efficiency as a priority
Fibra communication requires minimum power consumption. Even at its peak, Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra uses only up to 0.23 W. Fibra operates on the TDMA principle, where each device is assigned a brief time slot to exchange data with the hub. Outside of this slot, the device’s communication module stays inactive. This approach greatly reduces energy use and prevents interference, even when many devices are operating at the same time.
System supervision
Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra has a self-test function that checks whether its sensors work properly. Specifically, it tests the PIR sensor and the masking sensor. Ajax runs the self-test automatically at regular intervals and sends an immediate notification if there's any problem or malfunction. Users can also manually start the self-test at any time using the Ajax apps.
Sabotage-resistant
Tamper alarm
The detector can be installed sideways. Its enclosure has three tamper buttons. Two of these are positioned on the rear side of the device, and they are triggered if the detector is removed from its mounting panel. The third tamper button is located at the bottom of the device and is triggered if someone attempts to break the lock securing the detector to its SmartBracket.
Anti-masking system
The detector is equipped with a masking sensor that prevents it from being discreetly disabled, even when the security system is disarmed. This sensor is designed to detect attempts to cover or block the detector using materials such as fabric, paper, metal, or even aerosols. Calibration can occur automatically when anti-masking is enabled or when the device is tampered with. It can also be started manually via a command in Ajax apps.
Protection against short circuits
If someone tries to create a short circuit, the system immediately notifies the monitoring station and users about the problem. There's no need to replace any fuse — once the issue is resolved, the detector automatically returns to normal operation.
Data encryption
All data the system stores and transmits is protected by block encryption with a dynamic key. This encryption not only makes it extremely difficult for intruders to reprogram the device but also provides robust protection against data replacement and theft.he system will restore operation automatically.
Device authentication against spoofing
During each communication session, the hub authenticates the device by checking its unique parameters. If any parameter fails the check, the hub ignores device commands.
Regular polling
The device regularly exchanges data with the hub. The system controls each device state and reports if there is a malfunction or connection loss.
Data-rich notifications
The Ajax system instantly delivers informative notifications about alarms and events. Security companies and users receive precise details about the incident, including the triggered device, along with the time and location.
PRO is king
Ajax busts the myth that wired systems are hard to install. Fibra technology transforms what was once an expensive, lengthy, and messy process into one that is easy and flexible — from project design to client support and system maintenance. Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra doesn't need to be disassembled during installation, and the intuitive Ajax apps make it easy to add the detector to the system. It can be reconfigured remotely at any time — everything works straight out of the box.
| Installation | Setup | Configuration | Monitoring |
| An installer can easily mount Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra on the wall using the SmartBracket panel. The installation kit includes all the necessary fasteners. There is no need to disassemble the device: the board with terminals is placed outside the enclosure under SmartBracket to eliminate hardware damage during installation. The board is removable, which makes the whole process more comfortable. For cable management, there are fasteners inside SmartBracket to secure the wires with ties. | The device is paired with the hub automatically via Fibra line scanning. This tool is available in desktop or mobile PRO apps. An installer only needs to name the device and assign it to the room and security group. The device can also be added by scanning the QR code or entering its ID manually. | Intuitive Ajax apps provide remote setup and testing with all device information from anywhere the internet is available, on a smartphone or PC. An installer can remotely change the settings and provide services promptly without visiting the object. | An Ajax system transmits alarms to the PRO Desktop monitoring app or any third-party CMS. The security company receives an alarm notification in less than a second. Notifications include all the necessary information: name of the device, time of the event, and the exact room where the device is located. The security company also receives photo or video verification, capturing the reason for the alarm. |
