It allows users to arm or disarm the system and, if help is needed, send an emergency alert to the security company. Pressing the panic button triggers the Ajax sirens connected to the system. Accidental press protection helps reduce false alarms. Since the communication is two-way, users will be notified whether the system has received the key fob command.

An Ajax system uses two-way secure radio communication based on the Jeweller proprietary protocol. It provides block cipher encryption and device authentication at each communication session with the hub to prevent sabotage, spoofing, or data theft.

Data encryption
