The AJAX FireProtect Jeweller detectors require a bespoke tool to support easy removal and replacement, the Solo 230 has been designed in collaboration with AJAX to allow this and ensure the same level of reliability and professionalism provided by other tools from the Solo range. 

Detectors are easily removed by placing the removal tool over the detector and then twisting it anticlockwise.  For fitting, the tool, with the detector inside, is simply aligned with the installed base and gently pushed up with a twist clockwise until the detector is locked in place. 

For signal surveying, the detector is placed in the tool and secured using the attached straps allowing easy movement around site.
