Model DFJ-CE3 is a 90°C Fixed Temperature Heat Detector using a thermistor and linearising circuit to provide an accurate linear response Heat Detector. A third terminal provides integral remote indicator output.
The DFJ-CE3 is ideal for use where medium ambient temperatures exist, such as drying rooms or where Smoke Detectors are unsuitable because of the presence of steam or cooking fumes such as in a kitchen.
The DFJ-CE3 is supported by a wide range of bases for different applications and these are supported on the majority of conventional systems.
The Hochiki DFJ-CE3(WHT) is a 90°C Fixed Temperature Heat Detector designed to provide accurate and reliable heat detection using an electronic thermistor and linearising circuit. The detector provides an accurate linear response and features a third terminal for an integral remote indicator output.
The DFJ-CE3(WHT) is ideal for applications where medium ambient temperatures are present or where Smoke Detectors may be unsuitable due to environmental conditions. Typical applications include drying rooms and areas affected by steam or cooking fumes, such as kitchens, where a conventional smoke detector could be prone to unwanted alarms.
Featuring twin fire LEDs for clear 360° viewing, the DFJ-CE3(WHT) provides a visible indication of alarm status from different viewing angles. The detector operates across a wide 9.5 to 30 V DC voltage range and is compatible with a full range of mounting bases for different installation requirements.
The Hochiki DFJ-CE3(WHT) is suitable for use with the majority of conventional fire alarm systems and offers flexible installation across a range of applications. The detector is LPCB and VdS approved and is also available in an ivory finish.
